Ingredients
- 1/2 package Pillsbury™ refrigerated Pie Crusts
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 1 can (14oz/398 mL) pure pumpkin (about 1 3/4 cups/425 mL)
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk (1 1/2 cups)
Method
- Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie crust according to package directions for "One-Crust Filled Pie."
- Mix all filling ingredients together and pour into pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake 40 to 50 minutes longer or until knife inserted near centre comes out clean.
