Easy Pumpkin Pie

When a pumpkin pie is this easy to make, you don't have to save it for the holidays!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package Pillsbury™ refrigerated Pie Crusts
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
  • 1 can (14oz/398 mL) pure pumpkin (about 1 3/4 cups/425 mL)
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk (1 1/2 cups)

Method

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie crust according to package directions for "One-Crust Filled Pie."
  2. Mix all filling ingredients together and pour into pie crust.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake 40 to 50 minutes longer or until knife inserted near centre comes out clean.
