Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of soft butter
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 1/3 cups of raisins
- 1 can (8 count) Pillsbury™ refrigerated Original Crescents
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
Method
- Turn your oven to 375°F.
- Flour your worktop and open the croissant dough. Roll out your dough, taking care to close over any pre-cut holes in the dough.
- In a bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Spread the mixture uniformly on the dough.
- Roll up the dough into the shape of a roll.
- Cut the dough into 8 pieces.
- Set the pieces into a pie dish that has been pre-greased or sprayed with a cooking spray.
- Bake in the center of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the dough is a nice golden color.
- In the meantime, melt the butter for the frosting.
- Once melted, remove from the heat and add it to all the other ingredients, mixing well so that all the lumps disappear.
- Pour the frosting onto the buns before serving.
- If you are making this dessert in advance, keep it in the refrigerator and re-heat it through before serving.
