Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of soft butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cups of raisins
  • 1 can (8 count) Pillsbury™ refrigerated Original Crescents
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar

Method

  1. Turn your oven to 375°F.
  2. Flour your worktop and open the croissant dough. Roll out your dough, taking care to close over any pre-cut holes in the dough.
  3. In a bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
  4. Spread the mixture uniformly on the dough.
  5. Roll up the dough into the shape of a roll.
  6. Cut the dough into 8 pieces.
  7. Set the pieces into a pie dish that has been pre-greased or sprayed with a cooking spray.
  8. Bake in the center of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the dough is a nice golden color.
  9. In the meantime, melt the butter for the frosting.
  10. Once melted, remove from the heat and add it to all the other ingredients, mixing well so that all the lumps disappear.
  11. Pour the frosting onto the buns before serving.
  12. If you are making this dessert in advance, keep it in the refrigerator and re-heat it through before serving.
